Mr. + Mrs. Darling | A Summer Mississippi Wedding at Southwind

The last of them!! Today's blog finishes up featuring the amazing couples we were able to serve this May!

Molly-Kay + Dylan were a dream to serve! They made everything just so easy. Their engagement session I learned they actually love pictures and were up for anything....including going into a corn field + a river!

Their wedding day was no different! It was beautiful in all the details, but their smiles never left their faces! That is especially the case for Dylan as he saw his bride for the first time when she came down the aisle! It was the sweetest moment for them + her family too as they gave her away!

The details! It was 65 degrees and overcast, in May....in Mississippi! Basically unheard of, but it was just perfect! Just wait, you'll see why this post is long. I have toooo many favorites!

The planning was wonderful and the day went so smoothly! Plus, Molly-Kay's color palette was a first for us to photograph, and I'm not over it!

MK, + Dylan, we are still so thrilled you are experiencing the gift of marriage together! We love you + love reliving your day again on the blog!

Thank you to their wonderful vendor team!!

Enjoy my favorites of The Darlings!!

Just gorgeous! This little bag the rings are laying on was made from Molly-Kay's aunt's wedding dress! So special!

You are stunning, Mrs. Darling!!

So sweet that they took the time to write + read letters before the ceremony!

Her first look with her was so special! Molly-Kay is the baby + his only daughter so it was definitely a tear jerker!!

Her sweet brothers!!

The most beautiful bride. That dress was made for her to be in it! Plus those perfect cascade flowers!!!

Aren't her girls gorgeous in the yellow?!

Obsessed!

This ceremony space was stunning by the water!!

Precious!

I thought their hug during the ceremony was the sweetest thing- it was just so real to them what was really happening!

A favorite!!! End of the aisle kisses are the best!

Get ready. Their portrait time was planned out so well with a cocktail hour so we had plenty of time! It was amazing + Laura and I just kept on shooting as much as possible!

Love this!!

So stunning!!

A veil shot + walking away shot = my favorites!!

I couldn't get enough! That's why a long veil makes us so excited!

In my top 5 of the whole day! I love that we got to have the venue behind us for some!

The dreamiest tree at the front of the property! On the swing they laid a quilt of her grandmother's- so sweet! So we made sure to take a few portraits with honoring that!

Love love this big tree + all the green!

Dylan made this sign for MK for the wedding! So sweet!

After we soaked up all the light for husband + wife portraits, we entered into their dreamy reception! The hanging lights, candles, and the greenery were just gorgeous!!

We loved this set up so that all the bridal party could sit together with the couple + enjoy more time together before the party started!

Those lights, y'all!!

Their guests made sure to have a good time with the bride + groom! You know it was good when walking around just wasn't a thing- so many people danced!

This exit made us all laugh! The confetti streams were so fun and literally went EVERYWHERE! The most fun ending to their amazing day!!
