Mary Catherine + Brian |An Oxford, Mississippi Engagement Session at Ole Miss + The Square
Story time: Mississippi weather can be unpredictable. The snow + ice we have had lately is mind blowing to us here, but as a photographer, I am glad we soaked it all up! Who knows how long it will be before this happens again.
Just like this weather, it's not everyday that the engagement season comes in a couple's life. It is a special season to cherish! I am so glad that Mary Catherine + Brian saw it the same way! This is why engagement sessions matter: to remember this sweet, unique season as you prepare together for marriage! These two are joining together in June after two sweet years together. It made perfect sense to revolve their session on the town + campus that has centered their relationship, plus add in their pups!!
You see, their first date was to an Ole Miss basketball game. Brian coaches here + Mary Catherine has been pursuing her master's here at the same time! Most of their dating memories are in Oxford!
Alex + I had a great time entertaining the pups and being cautious of ice patches to get these portraits for them!

Mary Catherine is finishing up her Master's in Education at Ole Miss so she wanted to make sure we took a few in front of Guyton Hall! This is also where Brian proposed in December!
The Square was even prettier than usual with white snow all over! It was dreamy!
We assured them they were nailing it the whole time + we love the outcome!
