Here's a little intro before we get into the fun of this thing:
I am a wedding + portrait photographer based in my home state of Mississippi, but will hop on a plane or in a car any day to travel for pictures! I'm a newlywed with my husband, Alex, after a 5 year journey to marriage! He's a law enforcement officer, and if he's off work, he shoots weddings with me. Sidenote: he is the world's best dress fluffer. Period. Our faith in Christ is the center of our home + business. Showing you His love is my main priority, while creating images you will love + cherish. You can learn more about me on my About page of the site!
First of all, I have to say thank you for being here! Sharing images is so much fun, but more than that, is sharing about the people in them.
Here on the blog you can expect lots of posts about wedding days, engagement sessions, senior shoots, along with personal posts about me + my husband, our dog Samson, our faith in Christ, and our life together! If you are slightly interested in any of those things, then I hope you enjoy the blog + the place I am creating it to be!
2020 was a year for everybody, however you decide to look at it. For me, it was a year of many milestones you could say, but with so many memories! More to come on that soon :) but one thing about 2020 I did not love, was practically losing all my prior blog posts! I will not bore you with the details, but my old website host held all my blog posts making them unable to transfer to this new space. I am sad about that, but with this new website that is finally here after months of working, I have a new slate for blogging! I'll just have to do some throwback posts to catch you up on 2019 some time.
